A Short, Short Tale About The Pants Family! →[More:]The Pants Family lived in Chicago. There was Mr. Pants, Mrs. Pants, and their little baby, Shorty Pants.
The Pants Family were a happy and inquisitive lot, spending their time looking at things, and occasionnally licking them, as the need would strike.
One day, the Pantses went to the Art Institute, for the Van Gogh Exhibit. Little Shorty was beside himself, which was an excellent trick he had learned when he didn't want to go school.
He'd be beside himself, and Himself would toddle off dutifully and take careful notes on butterflies and algebra while Shorty slept in.
"Mammy! Mommy! What flavor are the Van Gogh's this season?", young Shorty cried.
"Well, we'll just have to go and see, won't see, Shorty dear?", Mrs. Pants replied.
And the whole Pants Family went and licked every Van Gogh in the museum: blueberry night sky, honeyed streetlamps and sunflowers, and surprise! A cotton candy ear for the adventurous boy!
Everyone went back to Casa Pants and marvelled at what they'd tasted and seen. They even brought back some Van Gogh Nibblers for their pet pigeon, Stevie Nixon!
