Slingbox. I want to watch HBO & the SciFi channel. →[More:]I feel that there may be people in the U.S. who'd like to watch the BBC and Channel 4. What would be involved in doing a slingbox service swap? i.e. both parties get a slingbox and then pay the other person for whatever service they use? Is this the sort of thing that would interest anyone? What obvious pitfalls have I missed?

US video signal is NTSC. UK video signal is PAL. Many/most TVs sold in the EU today can handle both kinds, but multi-format sets are still rare and expensive in the States, as are standalone converters. Can a slingbox do the conversion, like some DVD players?
