A Whitey Ford update. As I mentioned yesterday my pal is very ill. →[More:]

Today we brought Whitey Ford home to continue treatment. 75 ml Ringers twice a day via subcutaneous IV. Drugs twice a day and force feeding every two hours to a total of about 400 ml for the day.

He is still in trouble but seems to be much more responsive now he is home. Lots of purring despite the pokes and force feeding.

Kitty who has been worried the whole time Whitey was gone gave him a good sniffing then returned to ignoring him.

Wish I could Amber but all he gets is a meat slurry shoved into the back of his mouth via syringe.

He is getting lots of extra brushings so that makes him happy.

arse, just went through a similar ordeal here. Cats are amazingly resilient- all the best, and a second on the kitty whuffles!
