Mets - Yanks Series During my time in NYC, I would like to get to the Stadium or Shea, or both, to take in some baseball, New York style. Not sure that I can get my family to two games, but one is doable for sure.

The Mets-Yanks series has long been sold out but there are all these brokers online who seem to only slightly mark up their tickets.

Does anyone have experience with ticket brokers in NYC, and if so, which are reputable to deal with online?

danf: I can't speak for any specific broker in NYC, but, in general, ticket brokers (online or not) are legit. They may have their own book of business, but they also hook into a national network of brokers.

I've used Coast-to-Coast tickets for a concert in NYC and it went smoothly.

If you know a reputable local ticket broker, talk to them. They can probably get you tickets or put you in touch with their contacts on the east coast.

for a not-bigtime game at Shea, there will definitely be seats available that day right there at the box office.
