How Much Mecha Redux: A Quick Memo to all Mechas →[More:] First of all - awesome responses from all of youse.

Second, I want it to be known officially to anyone who uses this site that I am ALWAYS available for anyone in crisis on this channel. I am in an odd spot with telephone talk, as I use my roommate's phone now.

But if anyone on Metachat has a personal issue they need help with but can't resolve, please get in touch with me via e-mail and I can arrange a way to contact you in person if need be.

This site for me isn't about being hip or putting up fronts I can't back up in person, it's about connection and community.

So use it. Come find me. I answer all e-mails, and guarantee complete anonymity and discretion with anything personal.

Thanks LT. That thread was really bumming me out yesterday. It seems people are too quick to dismiss what goes on around here as meaningful in any way. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, of course, but if one person gets comfort or a laugh or whatever, then I think it is meaningful, face-to-face interaction or no.

10-1015: GROUP CHICK WUFFLE FANTASY (remember to check list of players)
1015 - Noon: type furiously on project to distract from GCW.

You know I'm talkin' but the "Ask LT Anything" thread where you didn't check in for four hours and I ended up answering the questions for you...

And don't assume you have to love everybody here (firstly, it would be impractical and exhausting).

I was kinds hoping the "Ask LT" incident would evolve into my becoming your MeCha Nemesis. It is possible to have a "friendly" Nemesis relationship (I have a couple of them in a webcomics forum I visit), just not in MeFi.

And anybody who asks my advice on something, please remember to do the exact opposite. Thank you.

ha! Wendell - you could never be my nemesis! You're too far into the Goofy side of the meter (like me). And I actually appreciate you answering that thread. I should have known better than to bail for that long.

I think if I have a nemesis on metachat it'd have to be Pi or maybe Ethylene, I seem to irritate them both in equal measure with the shit I spew on here. (Even though Pi and I are friends in real life - he's a nice guy if you ever get to meet him.)
