Police said they are considering felony burglary charges and misdemeanor assault charges.

While they're at it, how about charges against the dog breeder for taking a 4 week old puppy away from its mother.

Now I know why people keep calling breeders stupid ;)

4 weeks! Unbelievable that the breeder would allow her to take it, and that she did.

Y'know, the whole hitting of the head with a dead puppy thing aside.

I'm with Iconomy - that's pretty awful, she deserved it. 8 weeks minimum, and even then you have to be really gentle with the pup. Most responsible breeders go 8 - 10.

Sadly, most breeders aren't responsible. They're just casual backyard breeders.
