Featuring a meercat named ZAPHOD! (Check your local cable/Animal Planet listings for times.) This show looks like it could be completely awesome. As an added personal bonus the Indianapolis Zoo (my local zoo) just put in a new meercat exhibit!
It's been on here (NZ) for a while. Don't know if it's a coincidence, but Telecom had been playing this ad for a while, so the public was primed for some Kalahari Kat viewin'.
Capsule review: Cute, but EXTREMELY anthropomorphized, so it would seem a natural for the kidlets. Note that partner-swapping is detailed, and one of the main m-kats gets snakebitten and is shown in protracted agony. Parents be warned.
It's been shown in England for ages too, and I love it. One of the joys of splitting with my husband is that I can now watch Animal Planet whenever I want! (As well as no more 'New Yankee Workshop' - ever! - oh bliss.)
