The LT-brador Grows Up →[More:] Somehow this weekend, my goatee decided to bleach itself grey at the bottom. Entirely grey, as if I set my chin in milk overnight. Even shaving didn't help, as the stubble is grey as well. I've been disorienting myself every time I look in the mirror this morning.

I don't find the grey bad, really, I'm just kind of blown away that some inner DNA-mechanism kicked in with such force. Literally half of my goatee went grey in a matter of days.

It's like I'm sporting a middle-aged chinstrap or something allasudden.

Oh, and JonMC - i just finished your photo set, and Pips is Sweetness on a Stick.

What a cute girl, those laundry pics of her on the Brink were hysterical.

There's only one thing to do. Buy a walking stick and a flowing robe and take up a career as a wandering prophet. Or some dirty Dickies and a fifth of Cisco and become a wino. One of those.

Allow me to represent some proportion of the chicks of the world in saying: that's sooo true.

IT's funny with the grey thing. My Dad had jet black hair all his life. Then he got some silver streaks at the temples, and stayed like that for a long time. Finally, at 51, he had a health crisis with two surgeries over the course of a month. By the end of it, his hair had turned shiny silver. Weird and sudden.

I had almost no gray in my beard until I hit 40, then wham! Gray throughout. I don't mind it though.

I thought I felt something pointy.

(Grey is distinguished on a man. I'm hoping for my father's white hair myself, eventually... no rush; I have pulled out a few white strands already. I may go auburn for awhile before I go white, like, you know, someday...)
