Is KFC better in the States than in Canada? 'Cause here it's completely inedible. Seriously. Last time I got a craving (a couple of years ago) I had to throw it out. I likes my grease, but this was like eating great mouthfuls of flavourless fat.
KFC is across the street from my nearest Taco Bell. But they're owned by the same parent company so wouldn't be surprised to see them share a roof.
I got a Chicken Fingers meal and they forgot to put in the dipping sauce. But the gravy on those lovely fake mashed potatoes is to swoon for. Pure comfort food. And the cole slaw hits the spot too!
Elizard, I grew up in Canada and haven't had the guts to sample KFC in the decade-plus since I left.
Furthermore, when I was a kid my grandfather (in the U.S.) won some kind of boxtop contest with a prize of 52 buckets of KFC, offer expiring in a year. Guess what we ate every time we made the trip down 87 to visit him?
I don't go near the stuff normally. Once or twice I've found myself hungry and in a car full of people who wouldn't consider anything else. In those cases, I stuck to the cole slaw.
