Even the spikiest lizard could use a whuffle sometimes →[More:]I'm having an utterly shitaceous day, to the point where I almost walked away from a job that has, for the most part, been very kind to me. I'm still contemplating it. Whuffles? Vodka? Vodka whuffles?

Unfortunately, my fellow members of the Friday After Work Drinkers Guild have cancelled our weekly meeting (for the first time in living memory) due to the inability to gather a quorum. This may be an evening of housecleaning, vodka, and The Damned. (I just got my copy of Machine Gun Etiquette back after a very long year.)

*hums to self* Smash it up! Ooooooh, smash it up! *air guitars*

I've managed not to quit, though. It meant cancelling my regular meeting with one of my two bosses, because I wouldn't have been able to keep it together for that, but so it goes. I also got the pettily enjoyable opportunity to point out a few of his fuck-ups today.

Whine whine whine. 40 minutes to go.

Thanks again for the whuffles, hugs, and hard alcohol. It's what's keeping me going.
