YSI Request Has anybody got "The Luminous Rose" by Robyn Hitchcock?

I've got "Globe of Frogs" on cassette and I'd really like to hear it.

The only problem with soulseeking songs I've never heard before is that I don't know if they sound right or not. Apparently this one worked out though. Cheers.

Robyn Hitchcock is strangely compelling. I have a few of his earlier CD's and I like them muchly. Dunno what it is about him.

That was me! You'd mentioned the song, or we talked about Robyn, or something, but I posted that for ya. I'm glad you like it. I heard him do that song live once, and it's stuck with me ever since.

It's really, really great. I never realized how beautiful that song was until I heard him sing it. Thanks bunches, BP! I seriously cannot get enough of it.

carmina, if I wasn't such a sloppy thread-reader, I'd have noticed your request and sent it myself. Glad you got it... brilliant, isn't it?

Since I missed that one, I'll send up my favorite of Robyn's originals, "I Often Dream Of Trains." Just gorgeous. (And if carmina already has it, maybe eekacat will get exposed to more Hitchcockian greatness. Or maybe both.)

Yeah, i used to love that album too. I used to have a bunch of him on vinyl and had a stupid zen phase and got rid of a bunch of stuff.
Damn yin, yang, and the flowerpot man while I'm at it.
