No matter how bad things get, my tomatoes will most likely continue to grow and ripen. That's something to look forward to. Until they die.

Believe it or not, this thought has gotten me through some tough times.

Recently I learned that hope does not need to be based on anything. It's simply a requirement in order to get through life. Be hopeful. Just be hopeful, if for no other reason than because if you aren't, you won't function well.
