I have returned from New York relatively unmolested Thanks to everyone who came out to the meetup. You are all truly disturbing people. Strangely, the affair was relatively shout-out free, but you were all there in my heart.

I will meet ColdChef some day (and I will call him "ceecee"). He can't escape.

Eventually we will go back to see my family in central Louisiana, and our (remaining) friends in New Orleans, and between the two points, he will be MINE. Bwahaha!

I am happy to report that, finding myself hungry in Soho on Monday afternoon, I drug my friend to Katz's deli, where we split a corned beef sammitch and a pastrami sammitch, and at the end, he stood up and toasted the owner for his brilliance with meat.

It was truly amazing. Thanks for forcing me to go.

Kathy Griffin is actually really funny in person tho--very gossipy (and even political)...i hadn't liked her before.
