We have a park right across from one of the high schools in my town. A few years back a high school kid swerved to run over a duck leading some babies across the road. He was so excited to be killing them that he did not see the cop pull out of the road a little ways in front of him. Needless to say he was caught. Sometime after that, they put up duck crossing signs and I think they lowered the speed limit too, but I might be imagining that.

I wonder what kind of environment they grew up in and how they were treated, what they saw. It is very sad for them and the ducklings. And who/whatever comes their way.

In other news, the list of people who deserve to have their kneecaps shot off just keeps getting longer and longer.

cmonkey, they should have their kneecaps surgically removed with anaesthesia to teach them compassion.
