Take LT Somewhere! →[More:] I'm stuck in a static temp job doing nothing. Take me on a journey! Invite me somewhere - show me your hometown or for a spin around the Universe! Take me to task or hang me from your dash, but Take LT Somewhere!!!
You are, though! I racked my brain trying to think of you as an animal, and all I could come up with was a vision of the Sphinx, not the beat-up, sawed-off version you see now, but as it was when it was built, with this immensely powerful and mysterious woman figure with the body of a fierce lion, and I knew it was you.
So come coast down the Russian River in a beat up canoe, stopping every 15 minutes for a smoke, a cheap beer, and a deli sandwich. (no quality allowed- we're slumming it.)
Tell you what, Small Chiarascuro'd One: why don't YOU come see me perform here, because I'll be in this.
Bring a tent, and I guarantee you a fantastic evening under the stars in the company both on and off-stage of wild and beautiful actors who will perform for you at the drop of a hat.
(I cannot guarantee the performance of said actors if any other item of clothing should drop, sadly.)
Can I come, too? I'd love to see your play. I promise to be good. (For instance, I completely avoided saying that I'd love to see you perform, because that could be misconstrued.)
Dang. I forgot you already have northwesty trees and beach. I'll have to think of something not tree-y or beach-y then.
I was just at Snoqualmie falls for the first time last year :) Sadly, you are far away. I will hope to catch you sometime in the future, (when I'm done studying for my humungo exam that's in July).
I've been down the Russian River in a Canoe a coupla times. That's a great trip. And the Sonoma coast? I've spent TONS of time there. A buddy of mine and I planted large logs of driftwood all up and down Goat Rock beach once. I wish I had taken a picture of our handiwork, it was awesome. For some reason I've always had fond memories of walking down Salmon Creek beach as a child. Oooh and the tidepools are so much fun!
