Just looking at the thumbnails from your biplane ride makes me feel a little ill. I can, however, appreciate how cool it must have been for someone who is not scared silly by the thought of flying around in a teeny, tiny open-cockpit biplane.

amro, I thought I would be more freaked out about it than I was... looking at the plane, I thought, "OMG, we're going to be hanging in the sky in a lawn chair," but actually it's quite snug and safe-feeling down in that little cockpit. The wind is fierce, though... I kept the camera strap around my neck the whole time so I didn't kill some poor soul on the ground by letting the camera get away from me.

LeeJay, it was an unforgettable experience... I'd recommend it to anyone.

I once took a similar such ride over the San Juan Islands. Open-cockpit biplanes are sooooooo frackin' cool to fly in.

Note: do no let your long flowing hair flow loose in the wind while doing this. It took me a week to get the tangles out of my hair.

But damn it was fun!
