I JUST GOT LOCKED OUT OF MY APARTMENT (though not the building! just the apartment!) FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF. IN MY PAJAMAS. SO THAT'S WHY I WASN'T TALKING.

Yup, the dog was by herself inside and my houseguests from out of time had just arrived. Thank GOODNESS the Landlord got back to me quickly, because both roommates are out of town.
