I just bought a snack called French Burnt Peanuts at the corner store. They're surprisingly good. Also, during my Mother's day duty call to my mom, I learned that come November, I'll be an uncle once again. Cool.
That's one of my mom's favorite candies. They're very good!
And I feel awful since I haven't bought her anything yet. But I've barely left the house for a week other than work. I'm flying up there for her birthday in a couple weeks, though, as a surprise, which will make up for me being a scum on mother's day.
I talked to my youngest sister too. She was recently in a car wreck where her car got totalled but she was fine except for a concussion that left her unable to concentrate or focus for awhile. I told her she was getting to feel what it was like to be me. She said that the family had already said that to her.
The burnt peanuts are a little addictive. Also pips is visting her mom today and bringing me double chili bacon burgers from my favorite burger stand. Sweet.
