You know, I hate it and I'm getting rid of it - as soon as I find something, anything, to use up this month's free downloads. I can't ever find anything that I really like on emusic. This is partly my fault, since what I really want to do is replicate some of the older music I only have on vinyl or *cough* cassette-yeah-I-know. And I can't find ANY of that. I went searching for Elvis Costello, actually, and as far as I could see they didn't have anything except his absolute latest stuff. Same for Warren Zevon, the Smiths, Psychedelic Furs, the Selector - the list goes on and on. They do have a pretty good, if later, Camper Van Beethoven selection, so I downloaded some of that, some New Pornographers, some Southern Culture on the Skids and then gave up - their search function is clunky as hell, too. So I am not an emusic fan by any means.

mgl, I'm shocked! I've been a member there for 5 years or so and always find great stuff. I get 90 tracks a month. I just thought I'd tap MC users to see if there was something I wouldn't otherwise have heard of.
