Where does the phrase, "I just vomited a little in my mouth" come from? I seem to be hearing it everywhere all of a sudden.
White Goodman: We should mate.
Kate Veatch: What?
White Goodman: Date! We should date some time. Socially. Go out and kick it.
[Kate retches, then forces it down]
White Goodman: Are you okay?
Kate Veatch: I'm fine. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
White Goodman: In some cultures, they only eat vomit. I never been there, but I read about it... *in a book*.
Thanks for finding that, Capn. I tried a very quick Google search, and when it didn't reveal anything (should've tried leaving out 'vomited') I started to feel like I was imagining the whole thing.
Hey, thanks Capn! I guess there's no definitive answer, which is really what I wanted to know -- if it was from some specific movie or tv show that everybody saw but me.
Google usenet and you get thousands of hits for "I just threw up in my mouth" but add the rest onto it and it is all after Dodgeball trailers started airing.
it's been around a long time--Simpsons used it ages ago too--way before Dodgeball. I'd say it was a Valley Girl thing, actually--i remember it from the 80s for some reason.
