What are you wearing today?→[More:]I am working from home, so I'm ultra casual- old worn-in Gap Ultra Low Rise jeans, white with blue "Sissy's Cycles" logo shirt from American Eagle, thick knit grey cardigan, and dark grey italian wool newsboy hat.
Well, as I am sorta playing hooky and doing some painting, a awful white t-shirt and the worst pair of shorts you ever saw.
Soon, I will head out to my buddy's restaurant/cafe for lunch...the Laughing Buddha. I will likely put some cool MEC shorts on and a much nicer, perhaps red, t-shirt.
Mike, I am so envious of guys' ability to just go into stores and find things like charcoal khakis. It is basically impossible to find grey pants cut to fit women (and that are not skin-tight and with a waistband halfway down to the pubes and made from some hideous stretchy polyester-infused fabric). Just a pair of plain grey cotton khakis, waistband at the waist, loose through the butt and thighs, is this SO MUCH TO ASK, DEAR LORD?
L.L. Bean makes some blue jeans that do fit the above criteria, and I have them on today, as I do most days, along with a red t-shirt and a soft faded old ink-green flannel shirt. Working in academia has its upsides, and lack of dress code is one.
Right now, I'm still at home (worked from home this morning, heading in to work in about 10 minutes) and I'm still only in my underwear. And have been for the last 5 hours.
Boring work clothes. Black trousers, grey T-shirt. I wore a black/white tweedy jacket over it but it's sunny now so that's come off. I'm home now but going out later so won't get changed until I get home at 10pm.
What earthquake? *goes to BBC website to find out*

Wow, 'Spode, hope all ends up fine and your loved ones are all safe. I'm gonna quietly freak out myself, maybe we can get some diffuse cross-borough quiet freakouts going here.
Blue flannel pajama bottoms, a white t-shirt, a blue cotton sweater, slippers, and the cat. Wearing the cat while working from home is fairly mandatory around here.
Black wide-leg trousers, Dark purple turtleneck Columbia sweater, black tank top underneath, giant black winter boots. It's cold, rainy, and nasty here, that's why the winter ensemble.
Moss green corduroys, black Arcade Fire t-shirt (suck it, haters!), black smartwool socks, black dansko oxfords, little black dangly earrings, leopard-spotted bra.
Black collared shirt, black cami, black pants, black flip-flops, black glasses, diamond ring, locket containing DNA samples locks of hair of both fiancé and beloved cat, amusing polka-dot underpants.
Me. . .new balance 808's black socks, black jeans, black belt, a blue checked Columbia shirt. . .white t shirt on underneath. . .some kind of boxers, can't remember the color.
My awesome wednesday evening couture: grey sweats, black turtleneck, green floppy pullover, and grey-green Greek army socks that make my husband's feet sweat so he never wears them but I do. Swoon at will.
Same scruffy hoodie I was wearing the last time this question was asked. (Don't worry, it's been laundered in the meantime.) Scruffy jeans, red T-shirt, white socks, and my hated dansko loafers which I hadn't worn in a long time because I'd forgotten just how much I hated them.
mullacc is wearing a navy blue, single-breasted suit by Hart, Shaffner & Marx, a light blue shirts with brown checks by Brooks Brothers, worn open-collar and brown leather lace-ups by Allen-Edmonds. He has the same $100 haircut as me, except mine is nicer. And I'm in better shape. But now more than ever I need to know about the Fisher account that mullacc is handling and this information seems vital.
Tan tailored slacks with a faint red pinstripe. White cotton scoop-necked shirt under a red silk knit cardigan. Red Earth shoes, black socks. Long black silk scarf. Teeny white panties. Silver hoop earings. Coriander oil.
same as always if you must know: black chucks, Lee Jeans, white Born To Run cover t-shirt, green plaid flannel, green flannel boxers with snowflakes on them. All of it needs to be laundered.
Ankle length denim skirt, black T-shirt, black Urban outfitters hoodie with kind of creepy semi Victorian sepia design on the front, black clogs. This is a change from this morning when I was wearing a different, dirtier black T-shirt from the Brooklyn museum, army green drawstring cargo pants and different black clogs.
Black boots, black socks, grey briefs, black pants, very dark blue business shirt (long sleeve, button-down collar), very very dark blue tie with navy and silver kind-of-check pattern, ID card. Five minutes ago I was also wearing an iPod and backpack, but I usually take them off at my desk.
White cotton scoop-necked shirt something something something Teeny white panties something Coriander oil.
*loosens tie, rolls up sleeves*
Is it getting hot in here?
