Dammit--yet again, can't do it. Not only that, but as of tomorrow I'll be in cubeland, which means no more bunnies or gmail, except during that oh-so-brief lunch hour. :'(

Yeah, elizard - I started in the new lab Monday; everyone else seems really "driven" and stuff - I've been wary about visiting non-scholastic (metachat, metafilter, slashdot, livejournal, hockey-related sites, webcomics, [computer] gaming sites, &c I've made short excursions on Mefi) during the 9-6.

The undergrad student/worker and the lower-level techs aren't "on" 100% of the time, but they aren't websurfing (or they're really good at hiding it) and everyone else seems more into shooting the breeze with each other (or taking off to "pick up their kid(s)" than going online...

I'm going to have to try to get in before my supervisor does and stay until after she leaves one of these days, just for kicks... (I haven't managed either) although I suspect that once I get experiments up and running that'll come naturally.
