That show used to be so great. Watching the new seasons gets me so fucking riled up.

Anyway, why the fuck do they need a tanning salon to run? Oh yeah, because they're empty flesh vessels. Unlike the diverse, interesting people of the first few seasons who actually had shit going on in their lives.

i think SF was the last interesting one, but i'm too old for it anyway...the people they used to cast really did have lives, in the beginning.

I totally agree amberglow. The first New York season featured the only Real World cast I genuinely LIKED.

I totally wanted Julie and Eric to hook up. Even though he's a douche. That's how much of a child I was.

I'm too old for The Real World now, which is sad.

I loved it when they weren't given some job to do and they all actually had to lead their own lives. Even in the Miami season, when they were trying to start the business, everyone still had different jobs. (Mike and Dan at the magazine, Dan modeling, Flora bartending, Joe finishing his master's degree, etc.) You really got a sense of who they were. Plus the city played more of a part in the earlier seasons. Now it's all college kids and it's drinking, fighting, and hookups. Same thing every season. BO-RING.

If I had to pick a former RW cast member to run for Congress, Kevin Powell's pretty much the only one I'd even consider.

i think Heather would be good too, maybe.
