I have now been on hold for 35 minutes. They have me. I cannot hang up now because I have committed so much time to this already. I am completely screwed. I hope they answer before I have to leave work.

Both my problems are due to incapability of Alltel's network to do what my phone is telling me I should be allowed to do. What a waste of an hour and a crick in the neck. I need a massage and a series of whuffles now.

I'm on hour 3.5 of the conference call from hell, trying to set up a firewall (but so much more than that) with the onsite plant manager, his lackey, the ISP, the MSSP, and the vendor who will manage the scary industrial machines behind the firewall.

Someone used the term "mission critical DSL" and I just about choked.
