Damn it, I'm going on the 2nd and can't justify going again a couple of days later (and I've already seen Nevermore and Evergrey).

I haven't seen Nevermore yet. I'm beyond stoked. Evergrey was great 4-5 years ago but kind of washed up now. I hope they play old stuff.

Get up front and just watch Loomis's hands, while you brain goes "Guh? Buh? Fuh?". Then catch 'em out back afterwards, or at the bar, 'cause he's a cool guy. ("How the hell do you play that stuff?" "Oh, I just practiced a lot of Michael Schenker licks...")

Yeah, that's why I want to get there early... Jaxx sucks if you're not right on the "stage", which is really just a 6-inch elevated platform. I'll suffer through the other bands at the front so I'm there for Nevermore.

It's going to be packed. Fastest sold-out show in Jaxx history.

I can swing that...I'm going to see The Concretes that night in DC anyway, so I'll be in town.

I only I could stay up through the week, see Gamma Ray, DragonForce (you know, just for the spectacle), Spock's Beard & Nevermore.

Oh, I see Exodus is playing with Illegible Band A and Illegible Band B (both of which, sadly, I recognize despite their best illegibility efforts).
