I disapprove of vandalism myself, but there is a local landmark near me that is SO asking for it...
(Notice the Pismo Giant Clam is already slightly open...)
Besides, the Pismo Chamber of Commerce frequently paints it for holidays and special occasions (when I first moved into the area, it was made up as a Thanksgiving turkey... Honest!)
