This thread got into an argument with a very special one. Possibly irreversibly.
Is this things we say when we have irreversible arguments? I think all ultimatums and unilateral statements qualify. Sometimes we need them, though. Sometimes the special ones can't stay, no matter how special.
But, sometimes we need to back down and swallow our pride. It's hard telling which is which.
ok, I am just seeing this, sorry! Got tied up with offline activities... pfft! I want to respond so badly --but I guess you are all on more interesting things already.
halonine, I did swallow my pride and got stuck in my throat and literally brought tears into my eyes. I was angry (very angry) and very hurt. I just hope I did not show it. ha!
Yeah, rainbaby, I got into an argument with a friend. Not nasty words, just nasty attitudes. Oh well. I really need to get over this crush. He basically totally brushed me off in a subject which is important to me and he knows it. The strange thing is that he has changed his manner dramatically over the last week, which I fail to understand and I do not really want to waste more time on it.
I Love Tacos may have a point, but I don't get it. Which does not surprise me as I don't get so many more things nowadays. Anne Coulter in my thread? That's as bad as it gets.
I Love Tacos response seems to have been based on the same understanding -- he was making a joke argument that would irreversibly piss someone off. (Which is what I did too.)
Anyway, sorry for the misunderstanding, and sorry about the argument. I hope things can be patched up.
