What was the error message you got? Was your post really long?

Well, I tried to post something that was a bit long and rambly (though the more inside was really early).

I don't know what error I got, because I didn't realize anything had gone wrong until I noticed my post didn't show up.

I tried to make another short post a bit later, and it just kept sending me back to the edit page, whenever I tried to click 'post'.

I assumed this means that I somehow lost my postingness. So well, sorry if I broke a rule or did something wrong or whatever.

Taco, you didn't do anything wrong I bet. (And if you had, you'd surely know what it was and some of us probably would have noticed it.)

Long posts have to be approved by a moderator. It's likely they just haven't seen it yet.

Do not feel bad, O Taco Lover. It will right itself.

ILT: No, 'sall good. Really long posts get held up to prevent spamming of the front page, or some such. An admin will eventually notice it and post it.

As a general rule, if you have a long post to make, compose it in notepad or something, and post the bulk of it as the first comment in your own thread.

So it sounds like my mistake was just making an overly long post. I can live with that, and I'll try to remember not to do it again.

And thank you for the culinary tips. My tip to you: eat a spicy and delicious taco for lunch, and you'll feel good all day.
