Yes, you can be 'whelmed' . . . and still be grammaricallytically upright and proper. Underwhelmed? I dunno. I guess so, if you want.[More:]
whelm
To cover with something which cannot be thrown off, generally applied to water; to throw upon something [as opposed to "to throw up" on something," i.e. "to yak" -shane] so as to cover or bury it; to turn the open side of a vessel downwards. [From] Saxon abwhilsan.
-Daniel Fenning's Royal English Dictionary, 1775.
...via Jeffrey Kacirk's Forgotten English Calendar.

Totally unrelated (but available from a retailer who sells Kacirk's stuff and thus found during my search): A really cool Day of the Dead card.

Have a nice day,
You can also be gruntled. That always makes me happy.

Just once, I'd like to come into work on a Monday morning and be complimented on my sheveled appearance.

I like how "unmolested" has such a different meaning than "molested."

I'd love to hear someone say, "they passed through the checkpoint molested."
