Hey friendly folks of Metachat! Thank you for the welcome, all this food, drink and sniffing, it's just like home.

I found my way here via mefi/ask/talk, and I've lurked for a little while, getting the feel of things.

...and yes, it's horses I work with. I sort out equine behavioural problems which is basically teaching horse owners how to be polite to their horses.

Seanyboy, on IRC coined a good phrase for it 'equine social worker'

When I'm hungry, I don't eat. I just grab a Snickers.

For some reason, just grabbing it gives me sustenance. Then I put it back on the shelf and walk out of the Rite Aid with a free calorie load and an ear-to-ear grin.

Colour me envious. I'd love to work with/around horsies. Lucky Arqa!

I live in an area with lots of stables and see horses being ridden fairly often. The riders prolly think I'm an idiot since I grin at them as if I were an idiot when I see them.
