UCK →[More:]I've been sick since Weds. night and I'm freaking tired of it. Not to mention that it's horrible timing since I've got an article and two papers to write and I can't stop coughing long enough to concentrate on anything.

I even went to the doctor yesterday and she diagnosed me with an Upper Respiratory Infection which I think is a load of crap because the drugs she gave me aren't doing anything.

This sucks.

Sometimes it take a day for the drugs to get in and do their thing, Al. Hope they kick in soon, coughing is really annoying!

I feels ya, I've been battling some heavy allergies since the rain stopped a few days ago. I'm on Claritin 24's and am barely able to function.

You could get a 'scrip for some cough syrup with codeine in it, my wife swears by the stuff when she's hacking and can't stop.

But I hope you start to bounce and feel better.

I get URIs every two years or so and it is a miserable experience - I am so sorry for you. The thing that my doctor eventually tried with me that was the only thing that really worked was an Albuterol inhaler. I know you've already been to the doctor, but if your coughing persists even with the medication, it might be worth asking for. It let me sleep.

I had a nasty cold last week, from like tuesday to friday, basically LAME. Wed and thursday were the worst.
