Are my earphones dying? Or does the bass playing on "Cadillac Ranch" always sound kinda farty?
I hate when earphones get farty.

I replaced my earphones yesterday, I got some studio cans, so I look like princess leia and I can't hear shit, but on the plus side it turns out that all the hiphop I've been listening to was not remixed to have an all tubas in shipping containers bassline.

I can't hear shit from the outside world that is...

I was all like "man, fucking dangermouse is really into oompah loops."

I think it might actually be the song, because the rest of The River sounds alright. It could just be sometihing I haven't ever noticed before.

Back when they weren't compressing everything, basses would fart all the time. Like on Motown records; there are pops and farts all over the place (though all those track bounces compress and de-fart some songs).

I wonder if Garry Tallent is just playing through a Champ or some other small-speaker guitar amp, to give the live-sounding "Cadillac Ranch" a little more jump.
