28 March 2006

anybody else watch that Dragon King show on sci-fi? [More:]

Dragon King - Dark Kingdom or something like that. Part one was on (actually is repeating now) tonight and I watched. Actually pretty good. And that redheaded girl. YUM-MY.

I have a dentist appointment in the morning. I HATE going to the dentist.
Missed it. Will likely be on again. Good to know it was pretty good. I'd expected it to be another scfi bust.

OH, here it is.

Anyway. weretable says watch this if you can still catch part 1 where you live (it might even repeat a third time tonight?)

Oh the redhead is Alicia Witt. No wonder I thought she was a hottie. I did not even realize it was her. I really need to start stalking her or something.

I d/ed it from usenet a few days back. The cast and the synopsis (and the whole Germanic/Nordic mythology thing) got me to grab it. Haven't gotten around to seeing it, yet.

Dragon King? Naw, man-- Burger King. Meatnormous. Cheesenormous.

Although I bet a Dragon could cook up some kick-ass flame-broiled burgers.

And Alicia Witt's so hot you could flame-broil burgers on her forehead.

It didn't look bad. I started to watch it but Henry Rollins was on IFC and I was already in a punch-drunk mood, so I laughed my ass of at Rollins.

So this is basically the scifi channel's take on the Niebelungs story, like the opera cycle? Interesting, though their original programming is generally more miss than hit.

See also: Harlock Saga.
