I was only sorta wanting LSU to win the basketball game today because it makes the SEC look good (since they are rivals with Arkansas now, I usually like watching them lose) but mudpuppie has given me new reason to cheer for AWPT (anybody who plays Texas).

I think we should establish some friendly Metachat sports rivalries. So get started on that. Let us know who you cheer for and who you cheer against. All in good fun, people!

I always root for the Red Wings and the Sharks, and I can safely say that if anyone here admits to being a Lightning fan, I am totally disowning them.

I actually have a fantasy sports rivalry with fellow metachatter danosuporstar, which we carry out on sportsfilter, another metafilter off-shoot.

We share the geekness, and I enjoy that.

Over there (sportsfilter), I have LSU in the final two, thanks to my cousin, bigbaby. baby is a fine and prideful surname, ya know.

Soccer/football beats Basketball.

Basketball beats US football.

US football beats Baseball.

Baseball beats Tennis.

Tennis beats Figure Skating.

Figure Skating beats Golf.

Golf beats itself.
