Wednesdays do kinda suck cause the weekend seems so far away. For years, when I was working in retail, it all made no difference to me. Whenever a customer on Friday would say 'Have a nice weekend!" I'd feel like vaulting the counter to cold cock them.

For me it's Mondays, just because I kick off the week with 4 hours of meetings starting at 9am. Not part of the recipe for good times.

Monday. With Sunday evening a close second. Although I could see how Wednesday is an ass dragger.

For me right now, Tuesdays are the worst. Class at 8 am, then on to work at my part-time job all day, then class again from 5:30 to 8:30. It's just a long-ass day.

Thursdays are kind of rough here. The kid is only in school MWF. Tuesday has Story Hour at the library, but Thursday is completely open and generally starts with a 6:30am, "What are we doing today? Huh? Can we have a Big Day? Are we going to go somewhere? Huh? Mommy? Mommy! It's Good Morning time! WHAT ARE WE DOING TODAY!!!"

Tuesdays. Your beginning of the week momentum is gone, and the weekend is nowhere in sight.

But Tuesday is also cheap-night at the movies so at least its got that going for it.

Ah, lunaticfringe, that's Monday here. Cheap movies and free popcorn.

Yeah, I'm surprised to find myself thinking Sunday. Strange, I know, since it's still the weekend and I can do whatever I want, but I end up with so much anticipatory anxiety and melancholy about the end of the weekend that it might just be my least favorite day. I should really do something to change that.

Free popcorn? I would plotz...I love popcorn!

Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.

I used to sit around on Sundays and feel guilty for all the things I felt I should've done in life.

Tuesdays. They seem to be the most consistently bad work day for me, regardless of the job I'm in.

On Monday, I'm still relaxed from the weekend and feeling pretty optimistic about the week ahead. Plenty of time to get everything done. Also, I always look forward to Monday night because my running group (aka drinking group with a running problem) meets that night, or there's a music session. So Monday's not as bad as it's cracked up to be.

Tuesday always seems to be the day the shit hits the fan at work. You've lost the weekend restfulness left over from Monday, it's a long day, there are always a lot of meetings, bad news happens, I start to feel like I'm falling behind on productivity, and the weekend is incredibly remote.

By Wednesday, I'm starting to coast on the downhill run. If it doesn't get done this week, fuck it.

Old Bay AND salt? I'd shrivel right up. (I love Old Bay, though.)

Cheap movie night is also on Tuesdays amro. AMC theaters are $4 on Tuesdays and Cleveland cinemas are $5 on Mondays. Of course, when you have a marquee club membership, like I do, movies are $5 every time and always come with free popcorn.

I don't like Thursdays, because I think the weekend should begin on Thursday.

I like Sundays. Paper. Football, in season. HBO at night. Yard word. Dog Walking. Shopping.

Actually, I don't like Saturdays. Too much time to fill, or work to do.

Mondays. I have to wake up earlier than any other day of the week for the 8am meeting (after sleeping past noon on Sunday) and then that meeting lasts until 1 or 2pm.

AMC is always cheap for me, sciurus, I use my student ID there. Woohoo!

Fridays. I can only work about 20-30 hrs a week and by the end of the week, I'm toast, wasted, exhausted.
