Well, I think the office looks pretty good in blue. →[More:]
The Eastern European gentleman who painted it disagreed with my color choice, though. "Maybe next time you choose a different color. Is too late now. Oh well."

Thanks for telling my I'm not crazy for painting my office blue, MetaChat! Taz, your blue room especially inspired me to go through with it.

wow, what a difference, the formely was no good.
I've had blue rooms! More cobolt dark blue, with orange "highlights" (like one wall orange, smaller walls cobolt - not as crazy looking as it sounds). And I don't particurlarly like blue but you can do a lot of good to a room with the exact right shade(s). :)

You have those evil textured walls like I did in my house. When we moved in, we were all gung-ho about painting. After the first room sucked up SIX GALLONS of paint and took all day, we were all "fuck that".

You were smart to hire someone to paint it. That sucked.

New color is way better than old color. I like it.

dabitch: Yeah, the before colors were awful. Every room of this house had really crazy colors when we bought it. Now it's got completely different crazy colors. :)

mike: thanks. I realized a while ago that I completely lack the ability to paint a room and have it look decent. :)

amberglow: curtain color suggestions are welcome! I have one window on the blue wall and one on the tan wall, so I need a color that matches both. I'm thinking I'll just get curtains that are the same color as the tan wall.

Very nice! Instead of curtains, I would suggest a timber venetian blind. It will keep that clean look and go well with your furniture.

But I'm male, so what the fuck would I know about curtains?
