"Tasteless, tacky and exploitative" is TV in a nutshell. That said, this seems especially bad. They'll make millions.

Is Elliot Mintz still working for Yoko? Wow. The guy must have the patience of a saint. Well, yes he does. I knew him when he did a 'youth oriented' radio talk show in L.A. in the '70s, and his reaction to the teen and sub-teen callers who went off on weird tangents was to dedicate his Saturday time slot for "The Saturday Night Irregulars", which you could consider the prehistoric predecessor to MySpace. (And when he quit the radio to work for the Lennon-Onos, the "Irregulars" tried to transplant themselves en masse to any other local show that would have them, including a certain college radio DJ with a warped sense of humor - and the meddling kids would have gotten away with too, if it weren't for the station's inadequate phone system - I really dodged a bullet there...)
