AWWWW! Over a period of time, my mother in law actually got a young wild fox to the point where it would come take tidbits from her hand, which was amazing to see.
My wildlife rehabber friend Janine has a fox who cannot be placed back in the wild. Here it is asleep in her bed (before it got it's own kennel outside; foxes really are NOT suited to be indoor pets, despite what some illegal breeders and buyers of "exotics" think.)
At the Pet Expo I went to on Saturday, there was an exotic pets booth - they had information about sugar gliders, fennec foxes, kinkajous, and a few others.
I went through the first 20-some years of my life without ever seeing a fox. Now, they're a regular sight around here.I think all the development has flushed them out. I love seeing them, though.
