Ludicrous! Unreal!! I feel like the Snakes on a Plane thing is a giant Mamet (Spanish Prisoner) flavored conspiracy that the whole internet is in on in order to drive me insane. I still can't believe you all got Samuel L. Jackson in on it, too. Thanks.

yeah, Frisbee Girl, it could turn into a whole "Rocky Horror" thing from the moment it comes out.

Everytime you see a snake, everyone hisses.
After every SLJ line, everyone says "mothafucker!"
Everytime a snake or person gets killed, yell out the score - "Snakes: 1, Humans: 5"

and stuff like that, except funnier...

Ahh -- and remember the other Harrison Ford character -- Indiana Jones.

Oh my -- the coincidence! That was the true beginning of 'snake-on-a-plane'in cinematic history. Forget about 'six-degrees of Kevin Bacon.' It's all about 'six-degrees from 'Snakes on Planes!'

Exhibit A: Indy Jones hated snakes in the bi-plane:
"Indiana Jones: There's a big snake in the plane, Jock!
Jock: Oh, that's just my pet snake Reggie.
Indiana Jones: I hate snakes, Jock! I hate 'em!
Jock: C'mon, show a little backbone, will ya?"

Exhibit B: Indy hated the snakes in the 'Well of the Souls':
"Sallah: Indy, why does the floor move?
Indiana Jones: Give me your torch. [Sallah does, and Indy drops it in.] Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?
Sallah: Asps. Very dangerous. You go first.
