14 March 2006

Woo hoo! I was somehow slightly part of the curriculum of the Borough of Manhattan Community College MMP240 MULTIMEDIA DESIGN Spring 2005 course. ("Examples of weblogs.")
Um... right. I'm over it now. Anyone else get hits from odd or unlikely references?
well, I once got found by a search hit for 'flintstones porn.'

My community blog had a record day yesterday, after being mentioned on the front page of the local paper.

At least it wasn't "flintstones vitamins porn".

My name was part of the courseware for a university graphics class at a midwestern university. When I goodled my name I got links to all the papers the indicidual students had turned in. I felt like I was rooting around in peoples lockers, I could just smell the moldy apples and gym socks.

Hey, you shoulda seen how biz-ay Pebbles & Bamm Bamm got in that jar after lights out. And don't even get me started on that pervert Gazoo.

I'm cited in the wikipedia entry on "rockism". Still not sure how I feel about that.

Be proud, brother rockist.

(also, the criticism of rockism in that article is lame. there's always been a huge black, female and gay presence in real rock and roll, and like you said, bad music is simply bad music, you shouldn't feel obliged to like something just to satisfy someone's political hangups).

Ah, Camworld...
He was the first of the old-old-skool a-list bloggers to put me on his blogroll, and I was the VERY FIRST person ever kicked OFF his blogroll when I did a page parodying the "United Lone Gunmen" hackers in which I joked that Cam's would be a much better site to attack than mine. (Some people with otherwise good senses of humor have certain things they just can't joke about... I could compare Camworld Barrett to Isaac Hayes, but that would even make ME upset)

This unneccesary bit of nostalgia for 1999 is brought to you by the Alta Vista search engine.

Jon, if I didn't have the utmost respect for you before, I do now, simply for spelling Bamm Bamm's name right.

Yay, taz! You designed my site and modified the code! You're in good company too.
