Venice? Venezia? I am going to friggin' Venice for work tomorrow....

And I don't want to. I am in my deepest blues. Scratch that, in deepest blacks. I want to hide under my five pillows, instead. Is that too much to ask?

Honestly, carmina, it sounds lovely, but I know what you mean about not feeling like travelling.

If there's anything any of us can do to help your blues/blacks, just say so.

I would personally be honored to put a smile on your face.

I'm smiling just thinking about you, and I don't even know you at all.

This has all been pretty saccharine, but I mean every word of it.

I hear you on the traveler's remorse, carmina. I felt like that many times when it was associated with work. I would usually try to find some offbeat/unusual non-touristy thing, like visiting a school or unconventional business. How long do you have to be there?
