Three for Thursday? No tune for Tuesday this week, I guess... [More:] but I see no reason I can't post three songs that very much sum up where I'm at (in the dialectical sense of "how ya doin'"; I know, I misinterpreted the photo Friday category last week).

These would've been up in the morning (ha ha), but YSI gave me a bother and I had to host some on my own webspace.
+ Built to Spill, In the Morning (this is on my webspace, so please download then listen; don't listen then download)
+ Ahmad (feat. The Pharcyde), Back in the Day
+ Rush, Circumstances

So where are you right now? I hate favorites, so this post is not about your favorite song; but is there a song (or three) you feel captures at least part of what you're going through right now (even if you feel fine)?
Eh, one more. I couldn't choose between Circumstances and Something for Nothing.

This isn't really a "this is me" song, but it's one that's been resonating with me, lately. I don't know if that's good or bad.

Okay, I'll play.

Literally and figuratively appropriate: Bruises, Lisa Germano

In the same vein: It Hurt(s) So Bad, Susan Tedeschi (dedicated to my ailing back)

And one that transcends commentary: Deathly, Aimee Mann

I feel several different ways right now, and I just got James McMurtry's new CD yay yay yay I am happy so here is a song from the cheerful let's go out baby part of me and then here is a sad and yearning I am lonely and I live too far away from everyone song and then here is a song, not by James, but by another of my gods, which is to say, Lucinda Williams, that's just, well, always appropriate. If a little dark. But there you are.
