I've been scouring p2p for this song for a while. I'm not usually a huge fan of 'political rock,' not because I have anything against strong political opinions, but because the music usually suffers. But this song is a great statement of purpose.[More:]

Little Steven - I Am A Patriot

Bonus Track: A very early (1969) track from Bob Seger, and one of the first songs to explicitly decry the Vietnam War rather than being just generically 'peace' oriented, and it tells the story from the point of view of the young men under the draft's thumb. Plus it rocks.

Bob Seger System - 2+2=?

(these songs are as relevant now as the day they were written, sadly)

Dammit. put a 'more inside' in there somewhere, wouldja?

A few years before he cut "2+2", Bob Seger recorded a parody of Sgt. Barry Sadler's "The Ballad of the Green Beret". Here's a "protest against protesters":

Bob Seger-The Ballad of the Yellow Beret

And to these ears, the ending even rips off a bit of the ending to "They're Coming to Take Me Away Ha Ha Ha".

This is probably as good a place to ask as any: Does anyone have a copy of "Roundabout" by Yes? The copy I bought from iTunes cuts off a few seconds of the beginning, which was the exact portion I wanted.
