I've never played a "Sim" game that wasn't completely frustrating. Without cheat codes, of course. Spore looks like it could be REALLY frustrating.

"Whoo, I got up to the interstellar level! Now I can visit other planets and OMG THEY JUST BOMBED MY HOMEWORLD! *reload saved game* OH CRAP NOW IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME I LOAD THE GAME!"

I downloaded the Penn & Teller game from a Sega newsgroup, meaning to use an emulator to see how bad it is, but I have not bothered.
