Epics! Anthems! Car Stereo Songs! [More:] Those slow-build classic rock numbers that we all love to hear behind the wheel or out in a meadow or by a highway at sunset, because they make you wanna hop on a Harley and roam the earth. Here's a few of the best. Get out those lighters.

Thin Lizzy - Cowboy Song (live)

Blackfoot - Highway Song
Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell
Axe - Rock & Roll Party In The Streets

The first three are classic 'man of the road,' rock and roll cowboy epics, the last seems to be about nothing but partying, but something about it seems to perfectly express the desperation that partying takes on among people who know that whatever good times they experience are nothing but momentary respites from drudgery, so I include it. But they all bring out the steel-horse ridin' cowboy in me.
Turn the Page - Bob Seger

Bonus:

Iron City Houserockers - Junior's Bar
. One of the best lonely urban male songs ever.

Fucking Thin Lizzy man, loves em, I do. Their whiskey in a jar is one of my favorite getting psyched to be in the car and going somewhere to be stupid for a while songs.

Mr Damage - The Angels
Paradise by the dashboard light - Meatloaf
Bad to the bone - George Thorogood
Lifestyles of the rich and famous - Good Charlotte

Oh, man, turn the page. Memories.

Lots more, but I have to go give another presentation to a workshop.
