car buying is tiring [More:]
Or maybe it is that dealing with the people that work at car lots is tiring. At any rate, I am tired.

Went with my mother today and helped her look at cars. She ended up going home with a 2006 Nissan Altima SL. I like it, I want one. I don't want the payments though. =P
I avoid dealers at all costs, saves a lot of pain.

I bought a new car (new to me anyway) about a month ago, and the process just sucks. The dealership salesman I ended up buying from was merely annoying, but some of the ones I talked to were just complete scum. I have known honest car salesmen, but they tend to be fairly rare.

I just bought a 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8S a couple of weeks ago and I love it! And it was only $995 after the trade-in!

A car dealer I knew once told me the way to buy a new car is to order one through a dealership. That way they don't have to pay the "flooring charges" (dealers lease their cars, they don't own the new car inventory). And the sales staff will generally treat you better.

We just leased a new Honda last Thursday. It was painless.

no, no, no. the best way to buy a car is to buy a two or three year old honda accord. stick shift. task completed. repeat every seven to ten years.
