pretty - I have no idea if this game is good, but look at the screenshots. Most game screencaps do not make for pretty wallpaper but some of these might.
I actually own that game and it is very, very pretty and a good game to boot. If you like games like Homeworld or Imperium Galactica (Nexus began life as a further entry in the IG series) then you'll definitely like this one.
I downloaded the demo. It's very, very pretty but there's no tutorial in the demo so I have no freakin' idea what to do. It's cool though!
Space games have a long tradition of being graphically wondrous. See Freespace 2, Homeworld, E.V.E., Vendetta Online, etc. Just a shame more games like this aren't made these days.
