Ask MeCha. Is there something like Velveeta in the UK? Further to this AskMe, I am trying to find cheese that will melt easily and smoothly in a pot. Kraft sells a product called Velveeta in the U.S. that fits the bill. Any substitute ideas from you expert chefs?
Kraft's processed cheese brand in the UK is Dairylea. It's probably not identical to Velveeta, but close enough for your need.

Looks like they have chunky Dairylea which might be close enough.

OTOH I don't think my local stores have it.

There are 200g tubs of Diarylea too. Any decent-sized supermarket will have it.

Also, Primula (Sainsbury's, maybe others).

But... this sounds like some sort of spreadable cheese product—which is not right.

Velveeta isn't cheese either, it's pasteurized processed cheese food.
