25 February 2006

Only 178 days left. And there is not a goddamn thing you can do about it.
This makes me feel more than a little concerned for the future of America.

This still does not fail to amuse me...

Although it takes more than a good title to make a good movie, you have to admit "Snakes On A Plane" is pretty good. I just wish my job had cool titles like this, instead I get "Lean Six Sigma Project". Samuel L. wouldn't want to star in that, I'm sure.

Four of the characters on the plane are 'passenger', 'man in suit', 'ipod girl', and 'puppeteer'!

Yes, I said puppeteer.

I think we should have a screening party.

we'll all get sidekicks and hang in chat during the film.

Why did it look like someone off screen is throwing rubber snakes at Kenan Thompson?

Only tonight did I discover that this is an actual movie in addition to being a ridiculously funny internet meme.

All this time I thought it was a clever, subtle commentary on our national obsession with fear.

But it's just Hollywood!

Tonight, on the Secrets of Hollywood.

I think more movies should take this straight-forward approach to titles. Instead of King Kong it should be Massive Monkey Goes Apeshit. Instead of Lord of the Rings it should be Little People Destroy Jewellery. Instead of The Matrix it should be Keanu Reeves Knows Kung-Fu.

Snakes on a Plane - 'tis a thing of beauty.

Dodgy, good idea. I know there will be plenty of fans of Mafia Guys Off Each Other #s I -- MCMLXII

Jackson was on Ellen last week. He said he saw the script title and had to be in the movie.
