I've got some shopping to do, then a movie (Curious George) with my daughter, and maybe poker tonight if I'm feeling up to it. I'm pretty beat, though, so I may just stay in. I like staying in sometimes!

This afternoon a friend and I are spending a few hours playing recent CD purchases and talking about music and movies, which is something I always look forward to. And then tonight I'm watching a double feature of two recent Tivoed moives - the Big Gun Down and Picture of Dorian Gray. There will most likely be a few beers involved.

I already did the grocery shopping... But the house is a mess, so I guess I'll just be cleaning up - in between computer and tv.

I could go out, and maybe even should go out, since it's the end of the carnival season here this weekend, and very festive - but I don't feel like eating in a restaurant or drinking, and I can hear the musicians from right where I am. I will definitely nap (got up at 4 am this morning, for no apparent reason).

Well I've already done some food shopping, had some lunch, watched some Seinfeld, and now Mrs Geezer has a horror film on (called Pity if anyone is interested). A bit later on we'll go out to the local pubs and may or may not meet up with some friends.

Then you've been using a little bit of my code: to my surprise, when I looked at the source today, I saw that code I'd contributed in mid-2003 is still in the build.

(After my Archos broke in 2003, and http://newmp3technology.com took my $100 and didn't make the repairs they said they had, I stopped contributing, because, well, I had nothing to test against.)

Ok, well, not great surprise: the code was specifically written to be easily extensible, and had in fact been extended.

(For those who care about the details: my code established a specific data structure (a C struct) and an array of those structs it iterated over and applied to input data; additional functionality could be added by adding additional specialized instances of the struct to the array. My code also called, if it wasn't null, a pointer to function in each instance of the struct, to allow further code specialization.)

* Get parts for sliding table for the now-rebuilt table saw
* Go to Old Town to:
--- look for cheap dado blade
--- visit Fran at Eartha Kitty's
--- see Jon at the Radio Museum and maybe get replacement knobs for antique AM/FM radio
* EBay stuff for light show projectors
* Put together temporary base for table saw so I can make the permananent base for the table saw.
* Go to celebratory Russian supper with my sister (I helped Irina kick ass in an administrative hearing on her unemployment.) Eat food drink toasts.
* Recover from supper / nap / read / be a matress for the cats.
* Watch old Crime Story episodes.
* Go to bed.

It's a full life.

Gym, brunch, trip to the Apple Store at 8:30 p.m. for an end to this iPod madness, possibly going out with the girls.

Lots of cleaning. I got this 'spring cleaning' bug and I can't shake it. I'll go to the nursery for plants (hanging & window box varieties) and leave off some more clothes at Goodwill. I need a lamp shade, so there's that, and to mail some presents I promised people ten million years back. Write a letter to my grandmother. Watch DVDs that just came in the mail. Maybe go out for a beer or try to get a rise out of some folks in IRC.

Get in a run if possible
Go to the grand re-opening of the Pearl with the arts & culture posse

Need to study for the Spanish test on Monday.
Have lunch with the grandparents. (Maybe. I'm still kind of recovering from PBR-fest last night.)

Maybe head to D.C. for some girls' night out.

Seriously, today I took my dog to the vet for some X-rays (he has a slight heart murmur and they took them to see what could be causing it. The Xrays came out well.), now I'm here wasting time. I should do some laundry today.
This evening I'm doing a Jaycee thing.

I think I'm kickin' it with mudpuppie. Then I'm going to watch Life on Mars for the rest of the night.

3 hour meeting at work, go clean up yard debris for the grand folks, annnd do taxes! Yar.
